Security and Compliance: Audits and MiCA Title II

Trust is earned through the unglamorous work: audits, disclosures, and doing things by the book. Two updates on that front.

Security

IOTrader smart contracts have completed third party security audits with InterFi and Blockchain Tools. Our architecture is trust minimised by design: dual oracle settlement, circuit breakers on rapid price moves, and a partial liquidation model that protects the system. Funds remain in user wallets at all times.

Compliance

The $IOI token whitepaper has been notified under the European Union Markets in Crypto Assets framework, Title II, and is classified as a utility token. This is a deliberate choice to build IOTrader as a durable, compliant platform rather than a short lived experiment.

We will continue to invest in security reviews and regulatory clarity as the protocol grows. A second independent audit is planned later in 2026.
